This wine is a one off expression of a grape we love so much!  We often include some level of skin contact in our single varietal Petit Manseng, and often toyed around with making a small lot of a purely skin contact Petit Manseng…it turns out 2020 was the year to do it. This wine leads with dried orange rind, desiccated pineapple and honey, leading to notes of hazelnut and bruised pear. The palette brings some heft from the natural tannin in Petit Manseng, with a uniquely balanced acid. We recommend pairing this wine for a special, hearty dinner to be enjoyed with company this winter. Amber is able to stand up to even the most decadent of meals.
